We work with leaders at all levels of organisations. You may have recently been promoted to a more senior position, already at the top level in a C-Suite role or just starting out.
Many of our clients are leaning into the key shift of leading others to deliver results. For some, having built a career on delivering business outcomes and knowing your area of expertise, you are suddenly faced with the fact that your technical or functional expertise may no longer be the most important driver in your success, as you lead a bigger team of people, possibly in a function that you’re not overly familiar with. The reliance on expertise which previously served you well, is probably driving you into detail and having a significant impact on the time you actually have to lead your team.
You find yourself down in the weeds, trying to be across everything and and as a result, probably feeling time and energy poor. And guess what… rather than feeling excited by the opportunity to grow, you’re probably feeling a little frustrated and even overwhelmed. This is where coaching can help make a significant difference to how you lead.
We help leaders step out of the ‘doing’ to inspire and lead their people. Great leaders are authentic and inspire their teams by building trust and leading from their values.
Other clients are leading a team for the first time so need some support to coach others. Some of our clients have had feedback which is holding them back in their career and come to us for support in managing their impact and getting their career back on track. Others want to be an inspirational leader and collaborate more effectively. Some leaders quite simply value having an objective sounding board – someone who can help you think through ideas or shape your thinking.
There are many different reasons to work with a coach but our work is tailored to the individual need and you can ensure it is completely confidential. We work with you on what you need and want to work on. You drive the agenda not us. Our coaching approach is about partnership at its’ best… supporting you to be the best leader you can be and to live an inspired life.
How does it work?
It’s pretty simple to start working with us. We start with an initial chat/coffee over Zoom/phone (or F2F if in Sydney) to get to know each other and take a brief for the coaching.
Once the coaching brief is established, we create a proposal based on our understanding of the brief. The brief can include coaching for a team in the form of a leadership development programme or one to one individualised coaching.
Depending on the scope of the coaching, we would typically meet our client every 2 -3 weeks to maintain momentum… sometimes, people want to meet more regularly or less – it’s all flexible as we follow your lead, rather than dictating where you go.
Coaching with us is a transformational and fluid process, not prescriptive and often our conversations will end up somewhere completely different from where we started! But that’s all part of the process – to follow your energy and gain insights around the things that matter most to you.
We offer tools and content to stimulate thinking as well as 1/1 coaching sessions, which are confidential and flexible. We establish the objectives for the coaching upfront, taking into account any feedback or profiling tools that may have been used.
We include alignment sessions with key stakeholders where appropriate. We can design leadership programmes or offer a flexible approach to individuals.
